Life long Jets fan here cause it is my Daddy's Team! It been a miserable relationship to say the least since the last and only Super Bowl win was back in 1969 :0* BUT I am also a Tim Tebow fan, so this year can and is getting interesting! Tim may be getting backlash from the media trying to make him look like last year with the Broncos was a flash in the pan... I disagree! This guy is going to PROVE everyone wrong! Again! Love your blog! Keep up the great posts! :0)

I think people are hurt at the way Tim got run out of town before he could really grow/improve/etc. Elway and Fox lied and stabbed him in the back. Yes, the NFL is a business, but what they did was crappy. Tim didn't deserve that. Especially since what Tim did in turning the Broncos' season around and getting back to the playoffs was the whole reason Peyton wanted to come to Denver in the first place. So quite frankly, I'm rooting for Tim to get revenge on Elway and Fox. Sorry I'm not sorry.

I know the one thing that is still bothering me is the fact that he wasn’t given enough time to grow as the Broncos QB. THAT they never gave him. 

I wouldn’t say it was ‘crappy’ though. But it wasn’t right and I agree he didn’t deserve it. At all. 

Coach Fox and Elway were in contact with Tebow the entire time so it wasn’t like they were just like “Seeya!” ya know?

However, any former player who turned your city and team around in a positive way deserves to still be respected right? Same thing works for the team for whom that player changed. Tebow changed the Broncos. 

I can totally tell you, all Bronco fans still love him.

I think it's true that the Broncos originally did believe in Tim Tebow, but That was mainly just Josh McDaniels(who now works for the pats) and the GM now John Elway def DID/DOES NOT believe that Tim can make it. So, I do kinda want to Steelers to win, however, I met Von Miller(Broncos Lineman) and he was super nice, and wonderful and all that. So it could go either way and I'd be okay with it. And I personally believe the Steelers will win because...long reason & I'm running out of characters

Coach McD who never once budged on putting Tebow in when the team had won a whole two games in the season? 

Yeah, he is the one who truly believe in Tebow from the get go. As did Brian Xanders. The Broncos GM at the time. He was there when he was drafted and he kept him there when McD left. 

Step in Elway. He wouldn’t have drafted Tebow, sure. However, he knew he had to play him four games into the season. That is where Coach Fox built the offense around Tebow and his game. 

So Denver DID work around him to make him better. They DID believe in him. They just think that taking Manning is better for the team. (Not saying I agree with this…cause I am still unsure. lol)

I obviously am a Bronco fan, it’s how I became a Tebow fan.

So I obviously hope Denver wins the re-match again when the Steelers come to town. 

It’s just a weird situation. To tricky…haha

Just wondering…

I know here we all are Tebow fans however, I was reading on twitter today a “fight” between a couple people I follow. 

One, was a Bronco fan. 

The other, a Tebow fan. 

Two different things. 

The Tebow fan was ranting on and on how they hope the Steelers get revenge on the Broncos for last season, and beat Denver in the opening game of the season. 

The Bronco fan then went on and on how Denver was the team to take a chance on Tebow and believe in him enough to draft him. 

There was more banter on how Denver never liked Tebow anyway, and that he will always be tied to Denver in a positive way.

I know where I stand in the argument. 

Just curious on your thoughts…it was entertaining watching them go back and forth for awhile.
