All he does is win.
Another week, another Denver win. Where to start with this one…
First off…. WE ARE TIED FOR FIRST PLACE in the division. First. Place. Oakland lost today, and I don’t want to get my hopes up but they play Green Bay next week so…
Great game today. Broncos walked away with their 7th win of the season at 32-35 against Minnesota. I honestly don’t think the game should have gotten that close. Our defense played another heck of a game, but they got tired in the first half.
Tebow and the offense only had one first down in the first half. One. I don’t how many times I’ve said it but, that has to change! We know Tebow can get it done in the second half. Everyone has seen it! But what about those first two quarters? I would like to watch a game where I don’t suffer to many heart attacks, and yell at the TV so much.
For a quarterback who isn’t an “accurate passer” Tebow had a great passing game. Tebow completed 10-of-15 passes for a season high 202 yards and two touchdown. He also ran in a 2-point conversion. Not bad right?
He only rushed 13 times today. That is a lower number than we are used to with Tebow. The Minnesota pass rush was impressive today. That’s a big reason why.
That better shut up a lot of “professional” analysts.
D. Thomas finally showed up this season with having caught both TD passes. He is recovering from a torn Achilles but it didn’t show today. I was impressed with him, and happy to see him back!
Tebow looked comfortable, and prepared running the offense today. In the second half at least.
As always, the D needs HUGE respect for keeping us in it. Goodman’s inteception late in the fourth quarter gave us the ball back for our winning field-goal. However, we let go of 32 points. That’s the first time the D has let up over 21 points since Detroit a month ago. What I saw today was proof that Von Miller is a huge part of this team, and was greatly missed. He is the key to the new amazing defense we have.
I don’t think I have given Matt Prater any love, and he deserves a lot. As a kicker, I think there is so much pressure on you. More than people realize. After tying the game with 1:33 left in the game, after the interception he sealed the win with only 2 seconds left on the clock. He is huge piece to our winning team.
This TEAM amazes me everyday. 5 straight wins with Tebow as the QB. Whether Tebow makes the D play better or not is still up in the air, but this team took a huge turn when Tebow began starting. I don’t see how he can’t be the future of the team.
Playoffs anyone??
Go Broncos!!
